At Yardworx Lawn and Landscape, we’re more than just a lawn care company, we’re a family-owned operation committed to helping Lincoln, Nebraska, thrive, one lawn at a time. Since 2014, we’ve delivered premium lawn care backed by expert service, community pride, and a philosophy rooted in doing things the right way.
But our story goes deeper.
Our journey began decades ago when Josh, our founder, discovered his passion for lawn care at age 11 in Hastings, Nebraska. With a mower gifted by his grandmother Jinx and a few paper route connections, Josh started mowing neighborhood lawns and forming lasting customer relationships. Years later, while managing another business in downtown Lincoln, he turned that passion into a professional venture. What began as a side hustle has grown into a full-scale operation with six crews, fifteen full-time employees, and a five-star reputation built on trust, reliability, and results.

We believe the secret to a healthy lawn starts below the surface. Deeper roots mean stronger turf, better water retention, and fewer weeds. That’s why our approach to lawn care is designed around long-term results:
- We mow no shorter than 3.5 inches to promote root growth and protect the turf.
- We recommend watering just twice a week, for 30 minutes per zone, to encourage roots to grow deeper into the soil.
- We use premium fertilizers that build soil health, not just top growth.
- We don’t cut corners. We create healthy, sustainable lawns that thrive through the seasons—because we’re not after quick fixes. We’re after results that last.

Yardworx is powered by the Hallett family. Josh and his wife Cindy run the company alongside their three children Jace, Cruz, and Hayes who’ve been known to jump in on snow removal during winter breaks to earn some gaming money.
